Pursuant to our order 18.10.2023 and the subsequent orde r dated 21.11.2023, extending the time, Mr. Ravindra Kumar and Mr .
Vishwajit Singh, learned Senior Advocates appearing on behalf o f the Greater NOIDA and Uttar Pradesh Awas Vikas Parishad , respectively, have stated that the said respondents have alread y inspected the site, and technically, they feel it appropriate tha t there should be a structural audit to be conducted by an exper t agency, like Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi or any othe r institute of equal competence for that matter, and for the sai d purpose, they would require eight weeks’ time .
Although, there is opposition by Ms. Meenaskhi Arora, learne d Senior Advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner(s) wit h respect to the time sought before us, but considering the nature o f expert report, which is sought to be obtained, we deem i t appropriate to grant eight weeks’ time to the respondents .
It is ensured by the learned counsel for the aforesai d respondents that the respondents will immediately start th e exercise of getting the structural audit, and they further assure d the Court that they would submit the report by the next date o f hearing .
We would also request the agency engaged by the respondent s for the purpose of structural audit to make endevour to submit th e report within time as fixed by this Court .
