These Transfer Petitions seek transfer of Writ Petition
(Civil) Nos.272, 1859 of 2023 pending before the High Court of Judicature for Delhi at New Delhi, Writ Petition (Civil) Nos.925, 1960 and 2118 of 2023 pending before the High Court Judicature at Guwahati and O.A. No.29/2023 pending before the Central Administrative Tribunal at Guwahati to this Court or alternatively to any one Court as is considered appropriate.
We asked the learned counsel for the Union of India to take instructions about other pending matters. A list of matters that are pending before the Delhi High Court, Guwahati High Court as well as the Central Administrative Tribunal at Guwahati is handed over to us.
Having gone through the list of pending cases, we consider it appropriate to transfer all the matters to the Guwahati High Court. Union is also agreeable for consolidating hearing of all the matters by the Guwahati High Court.
In view of the above, Writ Petition (Civil) Nos.272, 1859 of 2023 pending before the High Court of Judicature for Delhi at New Delhi and O.A. No.29/2023 pending before the Central Administrative Tribunal at Guwahati are directed to transfer to the Guwahati High Court to be heard along with similar pending Writ Petition (Civil) Nos.925, 1960 and 2118 of 2023 before the High Court Judicature at Guwahati Records shall be sent by the concerned Courts where proceedings are pending to the transferee Court without any delay.
It is further directed that similar Writ Petition (Civil)
No. 2112 of 2023 pending before the High Court Judicature at Guwahati be heard alongwith the other transferred matters.
The transfer petitions stand allowed accordingly.
