1. Taken on board. It is stated by the learned amicus curiae that the term of the Member-Secretary, Shri Sanjeev Chadha has come to an end and it is also stated that the CEC can function without the Member-Secretary. The statements are recorded.

2. In place of Shri P.R. Mohenty, who was holding the office of Director General of Forests and Special Secretary in the Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF) and whose term has expired, Dr. P.J. Dilip Kumar is appointed as Member of the CEC.

3. IA is disposed of accordingly.
