1. Leave granted.
2. In exercise of the power vested in it under Section 29 of the Electricity (Supply) Act, 1948 (for short, ‘the Act’), Orissa State Electricity Board (for short, ‘the Board’) (predecessor of appellant No.1) framed about 50 transmission schemes, which were notified on 30.05.1991 to enable the licensees and other interested persons to make representations.
The notification was published in official gazette dated 20.7.1991. For the sake of reference, the relevant portions of the notification are extracted below:
