ORDER :

1. The Chairperson of the National Human Rights Commission has addressed a letter dated October 27, 1995 in which it has been pointed out that there are a good number of cases awaiting trial but on account of absence of adequate number of Courts the trials are delayed and the people continue to languish in jails. Before we do so, we direct that copies of the letter inclusive of the accompaniments and statistical information may be supplied to the learned ASG-Mr. Tulsi as well as counsel for the petitioner. Mr. Tulsi states that he will have the same verified. and also try to find our 'ways and means of expediting the trials of pending cases within two weeks. Let the matter come up on 1.12.95.
