1. The present appeal has been filed by the appellant against the judgment dated 29th September, 2011 and the order on sentence dated 30th September, 2011 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge 02 (Central), Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi in Session Case No.15/2010 whereby the appellant was convicted in a case arising out of FIR No.155/2008 registered under Sections 302/325 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Police Station Nabi Karim and by the order on sentence dated 30th September, 2011, was sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for life with fine of Rs.50,000/- for the commission of offence punishable under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and in default, to undergo additional imprisonment for a period of one year. The appellant was also sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for five years for commission of offence punishable under Section 325 of the IPC and fine of Rs.10,000/- and in default of payment of fine, to undergo additional simple imprisonment for three months. Both the sentences were ordered to run concurrently.
