1. Vide the present petition, petitioner is seeking directions to respondents for adjudicating and implementing the letter dated 04.03.2022 issued by the office of the DG CRPF in a time-bound manner.
2. Learned counsel for respondents submits that to fast up the promotion, Cadre Review proposal for Tradesman Cadre is under consideration.
3. Learned counsel for respondents further submits that to increase the promotional avenue in Carpenter Trade, Force level Cadre Review Committee has already been constituted to examine the up-gradation of post in Carpenter Trade in CRPF suggesting their promotional avenues/career progression to the next higher rank and its functional justification, which is under consideration and after due recommendations of Cadre Review Committee on Carpenter Trade, proposal will be initiated with Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) for necessary approval.
4. In view of above, we hereby dispose of the present petition by directing the respondents to take final decision on Cadre Review for Tradesman Cadre within 8 weeks from today. The decision so taken shall be forwarded for approval to the Ministry of Home Affairs within two weeks thereafter and
