JUDGMENT

Sanjeev Sachdeva, J. (Oral)--Petitioner seeks interim bail for a period of four weeks in FIR No.106/2018 under Section 21 NDPS Act, Police Station Crime Branch on the ground that his brother-in-law (wife's brother) has expired on 04.11.2018 and the last rituals are to be performed on 17.11.2018 and thereafter within next 3-4 days Dharam Shant has to be performed. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that some rituals need to be performed in Kurukshetra also.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was earlier also granted interim bail for a period of 7 days on account of illness of his daughter and he had duly surrendered in terms of the orders of the Court.

3. Status report has been filed which has verified the factum of the death as also the factum of performing of last rituals.

4. Learned APP for the State submits that since the deceased is his brother-in-law, the last rituals at Kurukshetra would be performed by his family members and the petitioner would not be necessary for the same.
