1. The dispute between the parties stands settled vide memorandum of settlement dated 26th September, 2021, which is placed on record. Learned Counsel for the parties are present.
2. As such, nothing survives for adjudication in the present suit. The suit is accordingly decreed in terms of the memorandum of settlement dated 26th September, 2021, by which the parties shall remain bound.
3. The Registry is directed to draw up a decree sheet accordingly. The suit stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
A suit can be decreed based on a mutual settlement between the parties, rendering further adjudication unnecessary.
A settlement reached through mediation effectively resolves the dispute, leading to the dismissal of the suit.
Settlement agreements can effectively dispose of a petition when agreed upon by both parties and appropriately recorded.
The court recognized the binding nature of the settlement agreement between the parties and dismissed the petition as the dispute was resolved.
