JUDGMENT :

Heard Mr. Rajeeva Sharma, learned Senior Counsel for the appellants and Mr. P.K. Appu, learned APP.

This appeal is directed against the judgment and order of conviction and sentence dated 10.05.2012 (sentence passed on 14.05.2012) passed by Shri Shrikant Roy, learned Additional Sessions Judge-1, Pakur in Sessions Case No. 03 of 2008, whereby and whereunder the appellants have been convicted for the offence punishable under Section 302 /149 I.P.C and have been sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for life along with a fine of Rs. 5000/- and in case of non-deposit of the fine amount, they were directed to undergo simple imprisonment for 1 year.
