1. The above first appeal arises against the Judgment and Decree in O.S.No.75 of 2004 on the file of the Additional District Court, Pondicherry at Karaikal. The 1st defendant is the appellant before this Court. The suit has been filed by the 1st respondent/1st plaintiff and her late husband Kalyana Sundaram for the following reliefs:
“1. Declaring that the 1st plaintiff is the owner of suit nanjai lands
(2) Restraining the defendants, their men, Agents, Servants, employees, etc by permanent injunction not to interfere into the possession of suit properties by the plaintiffs,
(3) Directing the defendants 1 and 2 jointly and severally to pay to plaintiffs a compensation of Rs.1,25,000.00, with subsequent interest at the rate of 12% per annum from the date of the plaint.”
