(Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the 2nd respondent in his proceedings in no.Nil dated 11.04.2023 and quash the same and consequently directing the respondents herein to grant permission for conducting cultural programme and Rakla race on 16.04.2023 on the eve of 253th birth anniversary of Maveeran Sundaralingam at Governagiri.)
1. This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the 2nd respondent in his proceedings in no.Nil dated 11.04.2023 and quash the same and consequently directing the respondents herein to grant permission for conducting cultural programme and Rakla race on 16.04.2023 on the eve of 253th birth anniversary of Maveeran Sundaralingam at Governagiri.
2. Mr.B.Nambiselvan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
