This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the constitutional validity of various provisions of “the Tamil Nadu Bovine Breeding Act 2019” (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), more particularly Sections 3(g), 11, 12(1), 12(2), 12(3), 12(4), 12(5), 12(6), 12(7), 12(8), 12(9), 12(10), 12(11), 12(12), 17(1), 18(i), 18(ii) and 20(5) of the Act.
2. According to the petitioner, those provisions are unconstitutional, contrary to the provisions of law. The said provisions are mainly violative of provisions of Section 3 and 11 (1) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act, 1960 and Biological Diversity Act, 2002, particularly Section 36 re
