In these writ petitions, the land owners, bhumidhars, lessees and persons having variety of rights over the subject land, have challenged the notifications issued by the Government of U.P. under sub-section (1) of Section 4, applying the provisions of sub-section (1) of Section 17 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (in short, ‘the Act) for acquisition of the notified land for public purpose namely for the, ‘land for development’, under ‘Yamuna Expressway Project’ through ‘Yam
