Hon’ble V.K. Shukla, J.—In this bunch of writ petitions, the petitioners, who have been declared successful at the recruitment examination conducted by the U.P. Police Recruitment & Promotion Board, Lucknow (herein after referred to as “the Board”) for appointment on the post of constables in civil police, have approached this Court, challenging the order of the Board, wherein they have been declared medically unfit by the Regional Medical Board constituted at the Training Centres, whereas some of the petitioners have approached this Court on mere asking to appear before the Regional Medical Board constituted at the Training Centres for medical examination.
2. Factual situation which emerges in this bunch of writ petitions is that an advertisement dated 10.08.2009 was issued by the U.P. Police Recruitment & Promotion Board for recruitment on the post of constables in U.P. Civil Police, in pursuance of which the petitioners claim to have applied for consideration of their candidature.
