1925 Supreme(Oudh) 142

HIGH COURT OF OUDH
Daniels, J.C.
Mt Gilli - Appellant
Versus
Emperor - Respondent
Decided On : 31-03-1925

JUDGMENT

Daniels, J C - The applicant has been convicted under Section 235, I.P.C. and the conviction has been upheld by the learned Sessions Judge in appeal. After hearing Counsel at length in support of the application, I am satisfied that there are no good grounds for interference in revision. It is difficult to take seriously the suggestion that the Assistant Mint Master of the Calcutta Mint is not to be regarded as an expert witness, nor can I agree that the Court acted illegally in allowing him to be examined on commission instead of insisting on his personal attendance. I dismiss the application.
