ORDER
The instant petition was initially filed before the Hon’ble High Court of Jammu and Kashmir, and later on it was transferred to this Tribunal, and the petitioner had sought the following reliefs: -
“i. Allow this writ petitioner of the petitioner;
ii. By issuance of writ of certiorari quash order impugned No. 199 dated 22.02.2010 passed by the respondents.”
2. This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, challenging the Government Order No. Home-199 (P)-2010 dated 22.02.2010, whereby the petitioner was reverted from the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DYSP).
3. It has been stated int the petition that vide Government order no Home-502(P) of 2009 dated 09-06-2009, 55 Inspectors have been promoted as Deputy Superintendents of Polices in their own pay and grade and adjusted at different places. The Petitioner who is at SO 631 of Seniority List of Inspectors of J&K Executive/Armed and Auxiliary Police issued by PHQ order No 1980 of 2004 dated 06-07- 2004 and belongs to the (Other Social Cast Category) OSC. Since the petitioner belong to OSC and one post had fallen to the share of the OSC category, the petitioner was promoted against Social Cast Category as specificall
