JUDGMENT (Oral)

1. Present petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondents to adjudicate the representation dated 20.11.2022 preferred by the petitioner against his retirement order dated 20.12.2021 passed by the Commandant of 124 BN BSF under Rule 26 of the BSF Rules, 1969 in a time bound manner.

2. In view of the prayer sought, we hereby dispose of the present petition by giving direction to the respondents to adjudicate the representation dated 20.11.2022 within eight weeks from today as per law and the decision taken thereon shall be communicated to the petitioner in writing within one week thereafter.

3. Needless to say that if the petitioner is still aggrieved by the decision of the respondents, he may challenge the same before the appropriate forum.

4. In view of aforesaid directions, petition is disposed of.
