Rakesh Kainthla, J.

1. The present appeal is directed against the judgment and order dated 21.09.2007 passed by learned Special Judge, Mandi (learned Trial Court) vide which the respondent (accused before learned Trial Court) was convicted of the commission of an offence punishable under Section 20 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (in short ‘NDPS’ Act) and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for 10 years, pay a fine of Rs.1,00,000/- and in default of payment of fine to undergo further imprisonment for three months. (Parties shall be referred to in the same manner as they were arrayed before the learned Trial Court for convenience).
