1. The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents to consider the claim for regularization and fixation of time scale of pay of writ petitioners as per G.O.Ms. No. 385 Finance (Pension Division) Department dated 01.10.2010 and recommended by the 5th respondent in his proceedings Na.Ka. No. 14087/2011/H.6 dated 31.12.2013.

2. All these writ petitioners were appointed as Sanitary Workers in Government Adi Dravidar Boys and Girls Hostel, Government boys and girls College Hostel. Admittedly, all these writ petitioners were appointed on consolidated pay on temporary basis.

3. The learned counsel for the writ petitioners made a submission that on account of the fact that the writ petitioners are serving for a considerable length of time, they are entitled to be regularized in the sanctioned post in the regular time scale of pay. This apart, further relief is also sought for to grant special time scale of pay in accordance with the G.O.Ms. No. 385 Finance (Pension Division) Department, dated 01.10.2010. The fact remains that these writ petitioners were engaged as Sanitary Workers on consolidated pay and they were not even issued wi
