(Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondents to grant permission and protection to conduct the Adalum Padalum dance programme on 05.04.2023 at about 7.00 pm to 11.30 pm in pursuant to Panguni Festival of Arulmigu Balamurugan temple situated at Karattupatti, Malayadipatti Village,, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District by considering the petitioner''s representation, dated 24.03.2023.)
1. This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents, directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to conduct “Adal Padal” cultrual program in Arulmigu Balamurugan temple situated at Karattupatti, Malayadipatti Village,, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District, on 05.04.2023 from 7.00 p.m to 11.30 pm and to provide adequate police protection.
2. Mr R.Sureshkumar, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
