Heard learned counsel for the Petitioners and learned counsel for the State.
1. This Criminal Revision has been filed assailing the Judgment dated 26.07.2002 passed by the learned Adhoc Additional Sessions Judge (Fast Track Court), Baripada, Mayurbhanj in Criminal Appeal No. 113/164 of 2002/94 affirming the order of conviction qua the Petitioners dated 30.11.1994 passed by the learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Karanjia, Mayurbhanj in G.R. Case No. 54 of 1992 (T.C. No. 327 of 1993) under Section 392 I.P.C. and imposing a sentence of rigorous imprisonment for a period of one month and to pay a fine of Rs. 100/-(Rupees One Hundred only). In default to undergo rigorous imprisonment for fifteen days.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the driver (informant) of Jeep bearing No. OR-05-4620 on 19.02.1992 at about 10.30 a.m., and the then S.D.P.O., Rairangpur, was going in the aforesaid jeep to Satkosia P.S. for supervision of a criminal case. While the jeep reached near village Koradiha, both the Petitioners, who were sitting on a stool, stopped the jeep and demanded chanda of Rs.101/- from the driver and as he protested, one of the present Petitione
