Headnote:(A) Land Acquisition Act, 1894 - Section 54 - Compensation for land acquisition - Appeals against the awards of the Reference Court regarding compensation for lands in Bhainsa Tibba and Saketri - Court assessed market values of Rs.294/-, Rs.494/-, and Rs.507/- per sq.yard for various notifications, considering numerous sale exemplars and locational disadvantages - It was determined that the ongoing market rate for the land needed to reflect the potential for urban development while also taking into account past awards and appropriate discounts for small sale areas.
