JUDGMENT :

1. The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 for quashing of cross GD No. 18 dated 22.12.2025 under Sections 115(2), 126(2), 351(2), 191(2), 190 of BNS Police Station City Rajpura (Annexure P-1) in FIR No.0302 dated 20.12.2025 under Sections 109, 332(a), 115(2), 118(2), 126(2), 351(2), 191(2), 190, 180 of BNS, registered at Police Station City Rajpura, District Patiala and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise dated 02.01.2026 (Annexure P-3), which is stated to have been effected between the parties.

2. On 25.02.2026, the following order was passed:

“The petitioners have approached this Court seeking quashing of FIR (Annexure P-1) and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom on the basis of a compromise having been effected between the parties. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that all concerned are parties to the present petition in terms of the dicta of the Division Bench judgment of this Court passed in CRM-M No.48043 of 2023, titled Rakesh Das v. State of Haryana and another, decided on 12.11.2024, Notice of motion.
