In this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, the petitioner has challenged the constitutionality of Section 5-A of the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research University Act , 1998 (as amended by Act No.7 of 2021) (for short, NALSAR Act). The challenge is also mounted to G.O.Ms.No.15, dated 04.12.2014, but at the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner abandoned the relief against the said GO.
