Introduction

Section 7(A) of the Bombay General Clauses Act, 1904, deals with the repeal of enactments and the effect of such repeal on rights, obligations, and pending proceedings. It provides specific provisions concerning the continuation or revival of rights and legal processes after the repeal of laws, especially when textual amendments or statutory repeals occur.

Punishment for Section

Section 7(A) itself does not prescribe any punishment. It is a rule of construction and legal effect, guiding courts and authorities in interpreting the consequences of repealing laws and ensuring legal stability and continuity of rights and proceedings.
