1985 Supreme(SC) 199

A.P.SEN, D.A.DESAI, E.S.VENKATARAMIAH, O.CHHINNAPPA REDDY, Y.V.CHANDRACHUD
K. C. Vasanth Kumar – Appellant
Versus
State of Karnataka – Respondent

Judgment

SEN, J. :- By a separate order dated May 8, 1985* I had added a few words of my own, for reasons to follow. Since then I have read and re-read the very erudite and learned opinions recorded by my learned brethren. I find that my separate opinion has invited adverse criticism since there are no discernible principles, for want of reasons. I have said what I wanted in my opinion, and I cannot profitably add anything more. I am now convinced that giving of reasons in this particular case, would add to further confusion.

* (1985) Supp SCC 714 at p. 769.

2. I accordingly direct the deletion of the following sentence at the end of the opinion delivered "Reasons for this decision will follow".

Order accordingly.

For Citation : AIR 1988 SC 2287= 1988(4) JT 773 = 1988(4) SCC 590 = 1989 LIC 1361.
