ORDER :

1. Leave granted.

2. This appeal challenges the judgment and order dated 16.10.2024 passed by the High Court of Judicature for Rajasthan at Jaipur in S.B. Criminal Miscellaneous Bail Application No. 10280 of 2024.

3. The appellant herein has been booked for the crime registered pursuant to FIR No. 77/2024 dated 27.02.2024 lodged with Police Station Kekri City, District Kekri, with respect to offence punishable under Section 409 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short “IPC”).

4. An application seeking regular bail having been rejected by the High Court vide impugned order dated 16.10.2024, the appellant has preferred the instant appeal.

5. By order dated 02.01.2025, this Court issued notice to the respondent.

6. Heard learned counsel for the appellant in support of the appeal and learned counsel for the respondent-State and perused the material on record.

7. Learned counsel for the appellant submitted that he has been in jail for the last six months or so and the charges against him are prima facie false. Merely because he was the incharge of the liquor depot when there was an inspection and there was an alleged shortage of the liquor stock, the blame could not have been put on t
