JUDGMENT (Oral)

1. By way of the present petition, petitioner seeks direction to the respondents to either grant compassionate appointment in Group D to son of the petitioner in place of petitioner or re-deploy the petitioner to any suitable place in the Railways.

2. For the aforesaid relief, petitioner has made representation dated 09.11.2020 which is annexed as Annexure P-6 of the present petition, however, till date, respondents have not decided the same.

3. Accordingly, we hereby dispose of the present petition directing the respondents to take decision on the representation dated 09.11.2020 made by the petitioner in view of the para 4 of the policy dated 14.06.2006 which is annexed as Annexure P-5 of the present petition within six weeks.

4. Needless to state that if the petitioner is still aggrieved, liberty is granted to challenge the same before the appropriate forum.

5. In view of above, petition is disposed of.
