The trial court must show disagreement with the conclusion of the Investigating Officer before taking cognizance of the offence.
Procedural integrity is crucial in cognizance of offenses after 'B' report rejection under IPC and SC/ST Act.

Cognizance orders must be supported by clear reasoning when differing from the investigative officer's findings, or they risk being deemed nullities.
A Magistrate must provide clear reasons when disagreeing with a negative Final Report, and failing to do so renders the order unsustainable.
