Decided On : 03-09-2021
[BAIL] - [SCHEDULED CASTES & SCHEDULED TRIBES (PREVENTION OF ATROCITIES) ACT] - The court addressed the compliance with Section 15A(3) of the Act of 1989 and considered the nature of allegations against the appellants, ultimately deciding to grant bail based on the completion of investigation and the circumstances surrounding the case, while not expressing an opinion on the merits of the case.
Fact of the Case:

The court found that the allegations against the appellants were not substantiated enough to deny bail, especially considering their prolonged custody and the completion of the investigation.
Issues: Whether the appellants should be granted bail given the circumstances of their arrest and the nature of the allegations against them.
Ratio Decidendi: The court emphasized the importance of evaluating the nature of allegations and the status of the investigation when considering bail applications, leading to the conclusion that the appellants were entitled to bail.
Result: The court quashed the previous orders denying bail and granted bail to the appellants, subject to certain conditions.
