Notice. Mr. Vishal Panwar, learned Additional Advocate General, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents.

2. With the consent of the parties, the instant writ petition is taken up for disposal, at this stage, in view of the peculiar facts as borne out from the pleadings.

3. The petitioner, a Principal (School Cadre) has filed, the instant writ petition, with the following prayer:-

“That in view of the facts and circumstances mentioned hereinabove in this writ petition, the writ petition may kindly be allowed and impugned notification dated 24.01.2024 and 03.03.2024 relieving orders contained in Annexure P-1 and P-2 may kindly be quashed and set aside.”

4. The petitioner has assailed notification of transfer dated 24.01.2024 (Annexure P-1) transferring the petitioner, Principal (School Cadre) from GSSS Ganger, District Chamba to GSSS Bagthan, District Sirmour and relieving orders dated 03.02.2024 (Annexure P-2) on the grounds that (i) the petitioner has completed only one year and six months at present station; and (ii) petitioner is due for retirement within two years, on 31st July, 2025 and the petitioner is entitled to be considere
