I.A. No. 2797 of 2020
1. The present Interlocutory Application has been filed for condonation of delay of 62 days in filing the instant appeal.
2. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
3. No counter affidavit has been filed opposing the prayer for condonation of delay.
4. Having regard to the averments made in this application, we are of the view that the appellants were prevented by sufficient cause from preferring the appeal within the period of limitation.
5. Accordingly, I.A. No. 2797 of 2020 is allowed and the delay in preferring the appeal is condoned.

6. The instant intra-court appeal, preferred under Clause 10 of the Letters Patent, is directed against the order/judgment dated 28.11.2019 passed by learned Single Judge of this Court in W.P. (S) No. 6901 of 2016 by which the learned Single Judge has refused to interfere with the decision taken by the authority on 05.08.2014 by which the claim of the writ petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground has been rejected.
