These criminal appeals are directed against the judgment of conviction and order of sentence both dated 12th August, 2010, passed by learned Sessions Judge, Godda in sessions case No. 104/2009, whereby and where under all the appellants were convicted under sections 307/149 and section 148 of the Indian Penal Code. The appellant Deo Narayan Yadav was sentenced to undergo Rigorous Imprisonment for four years and fine of Rs. 2000/-and in default to undergo simple imprisonment for 15 days for his conviction under section 307/149 of IPC and remaining remaining appellants were sentenced to undergo Rigorous imprisonment for two years and fine of Rs. 2,000/-each and in default to undergo simple imprisonment for 15 days for their conviction under section 307/ 149 of IPC. All the appellants were sentenced to undergo Rigorous imprisonment for one year and fine of Rs. 1,000/-each and in default to undergo simple imprisonment for 10 days for their conviction under section 148 of IPC. Both the sentences were ordered to run concurrently.
