This writ petition is filed for the following relief:
“To call for the records relating to the impugned proceedings issued by the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No.42559/Fl/2018 dated 10.10.2023 and to quash the same and consequently directing the respondents to pass orders granting approval of appointment by promotion of petitioner to the post of Physical Education Director / Physical Directress from the post of Physical Education Instructor with effect from 01.06.1996 being the actual / initial date of promotion as claimed by the petitioner based on the approval granted by the University of Madras on 12.02.1997, with all consequential benefits including payment of arrears of salary and retirement benefits including pension, revision of pension, within a time frame fixed by this Court.”
