1. In view of the reasons mentioned in the application, the same is allowed as prayed for.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and without commenting anything as regards the merits of the case, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Police District Khanna, District Ludhiana, to get the representation dated 25.12.2022 (Annexure P-5) examined to the limited extent of the alleged threat perception of the petitioners. In case, it is found that there is genuine threat to life and liberty of the petitioners, then necessary steps be taken in accordance with law, at the earliest.
3. A copy of this order along with copy of representation dated 25.12.2022 (Annexure P-5) be sent to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Police District Khanna, District Ludhiana, for necessary compliance.
