JUDGMENT
Gurvinder Singh Gill, J. - Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and without commenting anything as regards the merits of the case, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.5-Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala, District Patiala, to get the representation dated 28.12.2022 (Annexure P-18) examined qua the limited extent of the alleged threat perception of the petitioner. In case, it is found that there is genuine threat to life and liberty of the petitioner, then necessary steps be taken in accordance with law, at the earliest.
2. A copy of this order along with copy of representation dated 28.12.2022 (Annexure P-18) be sent to respondent No.5-Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala, District Patiala, for necessary compliance.
