JUDGMENT
Anupinder Singh Grewal, J. - Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he is confining the prayer in this petition to expeditious decision of the application preferred by them for injunction. He also submits that the suit along with the application for injunction is pending adjudication for quite some time.
Heard.
2. In view of the limited prayer of the petitioners, the petition is disposed of, without any notice to the respondents, directing the trial Court to consider and decide the application for injunction within a period of three months from now. Till then, the parties shall maintain status quo over the suit land.
3. In the event of the respondents being aggrieved of this order, they would be at liberty to prefer an application.
Courts may direct the trial court to consider and decide applications for injunction within a specified period, especially when the matter has been pending for an extended duration.
