The instant appeal is directed against the judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 11.04.2014 passed by learned Sessions Judge, Moga, whereby the appellant has been convicted for committing an offence punishable under Section 302 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereinafter referred as TPC') and has been sentenced to undergo imprisonment for life and to pay a fine of Rs. 5, 000/- in default whereof he has been sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of six months.
