1. Vide the present petition, the petitioner seeks directions to the respondents to grant the next promotion to the petitioner and to medically examine the petitioner and prepare a final report.
2. In view of the submissions made in the present petition and the prayer sought, based on the new facts we hereby direct the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the competent authority for the aforesaid relief(s) within two weeks from today and on receipt of the same, the competent authority is directed to decide the same within four weeks thereafter and communicate the decision thereof to the petitioner within one week thereafter.
3. Needless to say, if the petitioner still feels aggrieved by the decision to be taken, he may approach the appropriate forum.
4. With the aforesaid directions, the present petition and pending application are disposed of.
