The petitioner has filed this writ application seeking to challenge the order dated 28.12.2018 passed by the Collector, Rayagada in Misc. Appeal (Anganwadi) Case No.4/2018 whereby, the appeal filed by her was dismissed and the entire selection process undertaken pursuant to notification dated 16.10.2017 was quashed.
2. Relevant facts of the case are that an advertisement was published on 16.10.2017 by the CDPO, Kashipur inviting applications for selection of Anganwadi workers in respect of some Anganwadi Centers. The petitioner and four other persons submitted their applications in respect of Talapadikhal Anganwadi Center. The selection was held on 13.03.2018 by a committee headed by the Sub-Collector in which the petitioner was found to have secured 64% marks whereas Opposite Party No.6 secured 50% marks.
