1. Feeling aggrieved and dissatisfied with the impugned Judgment dated 30.09.2014, the accused in S.C.s & S.T.s Sessions Case No.1 of 2014 on the file of a Special Judge for the trial of cases under S.Cs. & S.T.s. (P.O.A.) Act-cum- Additional District & Sessions Judge Vizianagaram preferred this appeal.
2. The accused was tried for the offences punishable under Sections 417, 376 read with Section 90 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short, 'I.P.C.') and Section 3 (2) (v) of S.C.s & S.T.s (P.O.A.) Act.
3. The learned Special Judge, by Judgment dated 30.09.2014, convicted and sentenced the accused to undergo Rigorous Imprisonment for 7 years and to pay a fine of Rs.3,000/- in default to undergo Simple Imprisonment for 7 months, for the offence under Section 376 read with Section 90 of I.P.C ; sentenced to undergo Simple Imprisonment for 6 months for the offence under Section 417 of I.P.C and sentenced to un-dergo Rigorous Imprisonment for life and to pay a fine of Rs.2,000/- in default to undergo Simple Imprisonment for one (1) month for the offence under Section 3 (2) (v) of S.Cs., & S.Ts., (P.O.A.)
