JUDGMENT
Ninala Jayasurya, J. - Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the official respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in the light of the legal position, the petitioners are intending to avail the remedies under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971. In view of the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of, leaving it open to the petitioners to avail the remedies available in Law. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, all pending applications shall stand closed.
A writ petition may be dismissed as infructuous when the cause of action submitted by the petitioners no longer exists or the relief sought has been rendered unnecessary.
