2. Member and the former President of P.W.D. Employees Co.op Housing Society, Tiruvellore, has filed the writ petition for a certiorarified mandamus, to call for the records relating to the proceedings in R.C.No.493/2013/r.g.1/dated 23.3.2013, rejecting the appeal dated 21.01.2013, submitted by the Society, against the proceedings, by which the Deputy Director of Co-operative Societies (Housing), Chengalpet, has ordered, for winding up of the society.

According to the petitioner, on 10.11.2012, after obtaining a copy of the abovesaid proceedings dated 03.06.2010, under the Right to Information Act, an appeal dated 21.01.2013, was preferred to the Registrar of Co-op. Society (Housing), Chennai, under Section 152 of the Tamilnadu Cooperative Societies Act, 1983, with a delay of 11 days. Before the disposal of the appeal, a representation dated 26.09.2012, was also given to the Deputy Registrar of Co.op Society (Housing), Chengalpet, to revive the society.
