In this Writ Petition, petitioner challenges the action of the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TGPSC) in undertaking appointments to the post of Secondary Grade Teacher (Urdu) under Notification No. 53 of 2017, dated 21.10.2017 without calling for relinquishments from the selected candidates as per mandatory Rule 6-A of the Telangana State Public Service Commission Rules , thereby resulting in unfilled vacancies due to unwillingness of such selected candidates, affecting petitioner’s right to appointment downwards in the merit.
