This Court took suo motu cognizance under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 against the respondent/contemnor as it appeared that his comments on and from his face book account were unfounded, unwarranted, scurrilous and was in fact an indecent attacks made by him on one of the members of the lower Judiciary.
2. Incidentally, the respondent/contemnor happens to be an Advocate, who claims to have 18 years standing and yet would indulge in launching indecent attacks against the Judges in indecent, wild, intemperate and even abusive language.
3. This Court vide its order dated 18.7.2018 issued notice to the respondent/contemnor in Form-I of the Contempt of Court (Himachal Pradesh) Rules, 1996 to appear in person before this Court. Pursuant to such notice, the respondent/contemnor appeared on 26.7.2018 and prayed for time to engage a counsel and file reply and the matter was then ordered to be listed on 23.8.2018.
4. However, in the meanwhile, the respondent/contemnor probably feeling more emboldened because of the indulgence and sympathy shown by this Court launched a fresh tirade and this time against this Court for which separate proceedings being Cr.OPC
