Headnote:(A) Land Acquisition Act, 1894 - Sections 4, 5-A, 6, and 17(1)(4) - Writ petitions against the acquisition notifications for nine villages alleging improper invocation of urgency clause and denial of hearings - Court finds no real urgency justified granting of urgency without due inquiry, nor was the process mechanically executed - The principles of natural justice require that opportunities for objection be provided unless urgency is absolute - Historical context and legal precedents support the necessity for urgency in integrated development projects like the Yamuna Expressway - Acquisition upheld due to proper application of mind by State with concerning urgency - Appeals dismissed. (Paras 1, 5-6, 48, 202-204)
